Each bench is meticulously handmade by traditional master craftsmen and finished by skilled upholsterers, honouring techniques passed down through generations.

The generously padded seat is upholstered with surface buttoning adding subtle details. The precise tailoring and cushioning offer both comfort and poise, creating a piece that not only looks good, but can be used practically also.

Beneath, a beautifully constructed solid timber frame provides strength and longevity. The elegant tapered legs, set upon socket cup brass castors, evoke a sense of classic country house heritage while allowing the bench to be moved with ease.

The Odd Chair Company proudly unveils Minet — a striking new chair design born from a creative partnership between our English heritage workshop and Interior designer Lauren Lozano Ziol founder of Lozano Jolas Interiors in London and Chicago whose deep appreciation for timeless craftsmanship and antiques has long mirrored our own. The Minet chair offers superior back support and a sumptuous seat, perfectly complementing our fine craftmanship.

Available in Oak or Walnut and to any custom finish.  In customers own material (COM) or we can assist in sourcing the perfect fabric.  The options are endless. Minet is available exclusively through The Odd Chair Company.

This chair is a classic and timeless design, used as a desk chair, a matching pair of side chairs or the most comfortable set of dining chairs. With its soft button back and sweeping arms, the Tayman Chair design can be customised for any space. Choose between a sabre leg or ring turned leg with sphere detail, available in any of our wood finishes or we can match your own finish on request.

A modern twist on an original 19th Century Design, the Wave Ladderback Bar/Kitchen Stool is handmade in the UK by our experienced team of master carvers and highly skilled craftspeople.

Each chair takes several days to produce, with the rush seating alone taking up to a day to complete in our workshop. The result is a beautifully handcrafted, highly comfortable and exceptionally unique chair which will seamlessly adapt to any interior.

All of our barstools are available in any custom size to suit your requirements.  Let us know your preferred seat height, and we will ensure the chair is perfect for your table. The front footrail can be specified in Antiqued Brass, Polished Brass or Chrome.

Carefully hand stitched by our master upholsterers, this bench sits well at the end of beds, in a formal lounge setting or in a hallway, and can be made to any length but comes in 3 standard sizes.

Our Harris chair was created on the back of a customer’s bespoke project, where they required a comfortable dining chair with clean lines that was superbly comfortable. We loved the design that much, we had to add it into our current dining chair collection. The Harris Dining Chair was carefully considered and designed to have tapered show wood legs, a traditionally built seat, and a comfortable padded back. It is also available with or without space stud nailing around the back of the dining chair and the corners of the chair.

The Faringdon bed and headboard is a new and exciting design to join our ever expanding bed collection. It has been created to suit a range of bedroom interiors, with customisable elements, such as choice of fabric, contrast piping, and legs that can be straight or turned and stained to any finish. We have over 30 wood finishes to be selected for the legs, or we can match them to your existing furniture.

All of our beds are fully bespoke; therefore, further sizing is available upon request. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss your requirements for the Faringdon Bed or if you have any other queries on any of the other pieces in our collection.

We also handmake traditional pocket sprung mattresses complete with hand stitching detail, internal pocketed springs, providing full support and ultimate comfort. The mattress padding comprises of multiple layers of bonded cotton, pure lambs wool, and loose curled hair that has been hand teased and overlaid with a layer of cashmere. Brand new to the collection, our TV Ottoman combines both style and functionality. Handmade to order, and available in a range of sizes to suit your requirements and your television specification. The TV Ottoman can be upholstered in a fabric of your choice or alternatively, we can source a suitable fabric for you. Solid wooden tops are available and optional skirting detail too. There is one remote control supplied and an external rocker switch to manually raise and lower the television.

Available in Oak, Walnut or Beech, it can be French polished in any of our 30 wood finishes. Alternatively, we can match your existing furniture or your sample. The Mari Commode can be made to any size you require.

We have handmade this side table in solid Beech for 15 years; it is such a great, simple, and popular design. The solid ebony finish has an opaque finish rather than a highly polished lacquer.

The Ebony side table comes in two standard sizes, but we can make this side table to any size.

Our design has a simple flared lip with square tapered legs and cross stretchers running between the legs. Finishing the legs with fitted socket cups in chrome, polished brass, or nickel is the choice. There is also the option of ordering with a glass inset, which drops into the tabletop.
