Due to the popularity of our hand-caned Bergere Bench and demand for an armchair version, we finally decided to create a hand-caned Bergere Chair, and we could not be more thrilled with how it turned out! Designed to commemorate our founder, Sue Cook, the caned Bergere chair has been modelled directly from the Bergere Bench sourced over 25 years ago with all of the original Georgian period proportions and details. We are sure this is the only hand-caned armchair available in England today.

The hand-caned Bergere Chair has been made in solid hardwood and hand carved delicately by our artisan cabinet makers to keep the original carving details as shown in the pictures seen. This wonderful chair comes with a choice of a pure feather and down seat cushion or our Featherluxe cushion, which has a foam core feather wrap. Please inform us of your choice upon ordering.

The Bergere Chair is a truly fantastic piece of furniture, one which has been built to last a lifetime, will age gracefully and be a wonderful investment piece. Available in one standard size. However, depending upon our caning stock, other lengths may be available; please enquire if you have a particular size in mind.

You have a choice of over 30 wood finishes to choose from, or we can match them to your colour or finish sample. Available with or without castors.
