We are thrilled to have collaborated with Sascal Studio to produce this beautiful new Wave Ladderback Chair. A modern twist on an original 19th Century Design, the Wave Ladderback is handmade in the UK by our team of passionate master carvers and highly skilled craftspeople.
This particular chair design takes several days to make, with the rush seating alone taking up to a day to complete in our workshop in the North West of England. The time taken reflects the true quality of this chair and the end result is a beautifully handcrafted, highly comfortable and exceptionally unique chair which will seamlessly suit any interior in which it is placed.
Suitable to be made as a set of unique dining chairs or simply as a standalone occasional chair.
Where it all began
Wave Ladderback Fumed Oak - Back View
We started working with Sascal Studio at the end of last year after we discussed creating a piece based on a 19th Century design but with a modern twist. The Wave Ladderback Chair is handmade in the UK by our artisan cabinet makers and rush cane experts.
We watched our cabinet makers work their magic and it gave us an indication that each chair takes several days to produce, with the handwoven rush seat alone taking up to a day to complete in their workshop in the North West of England. We are so proud of this piece and we hope you love it too!

How to order
